In Bangalore ,apart from a variety of dosas with a wide variety of fillings inside,the rava idly,madhur vadde,upma made of semolina are some of the local favorites.The ragi mudde or the ragi balls with sopina saaru topped with ghee,is a local delicacy,and a must have.Traditionally you can find lunch served on a banana leaf with sumptuous portions of rice ,sambar (a soup like consistency of lentils and vegetables)pappadams ,pickles ,kosumbari (salad) payasa a sweet porridge.This can be finally finished off with a portion of curd rice.With that kind of a meal you are sure to end up with a burrrp !
